Quality is not a question of control, but of planning. At Futura-Promotional Material Logistics, great importance is therefore placed on precise preparation of the shipping order.
Even in the preliminary discussions with the customer, the most important parameters such as shipping method, packaging, postage, etc. are clarified.
Work preparation at Futura-Werbemittel-Logistik prepares addresses, delivery notes and all documents accompanying the shipment for the packaging stations.
For each order, Futura assembles its own packing stations. At these stations, the individual parts of the shipment are made ready for the picking operations.
Most Futura employees have been working at the company for many years and are familiar with the picking and shipping operations. Nevertheless, at the start of each new order, comprehensive training and instruction takes place. Every employee entrusted with picking knows exactly what to pack and where to „pick“ it.
Random sample checks ensure that all shipments are packed correctly. Before delivery to the shipping service provider, the Futura employees carry out inventory checks. Should discrepancies arise between inventory and packed goods, incorrect shipments can be identified and corrected.
